A museum in Carnamah!

The Carnamah Historical Society's museum celebrated the official opening of its extension on 15 September 2012. When the day was approaching a number of people told me that I must be included in the photos taken on the day... so here I am!

Aside from the hay fever it was a great honour to be present at what was very much a red letter day in the history of the Carnamah Historical Society. I am pictured below next to the museum's "Window to the Past" which is looking down Carnamah's main street in 1932.

Behind my balding head is the division between where the old and new portions of the museum come together. The old wall surrounding the photo was part of Carnamah's first tearooms, which was built for my great great grandparents in 1926.
